The AB320 can extend the cable length between the Nedap RFID reader and antenna up to 55 meters [60.17 yds]. The Nedap readers can be mounted together in a central enclosure offering easy maintenance.

The AB320 can be applied when the Nedap RFID readers need to mounted all together on a central location with other electronic equipment offering easy maintenance. In order the cover a larger distance than 5 meters between the reader and the antenna the AB320 can be used to expand this distance. The AB320 will tune the antenna signal and transmit it to the Nedap RFID reader.

Adequate solutions for different conditions

In industrial environments or in situations in which the tuning unit is attached to moveable parts or in those cases where high mechanical vibrations are expected, fixed tuning is recommended. The AB320 features a fixed tuning capacitor in which you can select the best possible value for the detection antenna.

Integrated tuning control

The AB 320 units features LED indication for optimal tuning of the antenna. You can achieve the appropriate tuning without the use of special tools or equipment.

Mounting

The AB320 can be mounted on any location. In order to attain the best possible detection results, it is essential that the distance between the AB320 and the detection antenna is kept between 1 to 5 meters

Applications

The AB320 can be applied in applications where the Nedap RFID readers are mounted in a central enclosure and distance between the reader and the antenna exceed 5 meters
